Conversations on Agri-biotech: Kapihan Session with the HRep
The International Service for the Acquisition of Agri-biotech Applications, Inc. (ISAAA, Inc.), in collaboration with the Philippine Agriculture and Fisheries Biotechnology Program of the Department of Agriculture (DA Biotech Program), has conceptualized a series of coffee (Kapihan) sessions for various stakeholder groups aimed at improving their understanding of the benefits and risks associated with biotechnology.
The first session in this series, titled Conversations on Agri-biotech: A Kapihan Session with the HRep, will convene policymakers to discuss regulatory and commercialization barriers affecting the development and use of agri-biotech products. This coffee session will provide a platform for an open dialogue between policymakers and key stakeholders, encouraging participants to share their insights and perspectives on agri-biotech in the country.
